This place is so cute!! The beach is walking distance away. The foliage by the pool was exquisite!! Our room was super clean and very roomy!! Yes, it’s definitely an older, remodeled hotel but it was nice and CLEAN! We would definitely stay here again! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning and we’re set-off to the beach we go! Great place!

Absolutely loved this hotel!! Perfect location, not too close or far from the water. Clean rooms and hotel overall(I believe it was just updated and switched from a best western) the rooms are accessible from outside but the way the hotel is situated and up in a hill, I didn’t mind at all. The balconies are great, we had a nice view! Pool and jacuzzi are great, area is clean and towels are supplied. Breakfast was a good variety, pleased with it. Friendly and helpful staff! We will probably stay here every time we go to Cardiff state beach. It’s very family friendly and accommodating. They’re in the process of opening a restaurant across from the entrance so excited for that 🤩 thank you for a great stay 😊

View can not be beat. Rooms are spacious and well decorated. Older hotel with lots of charm but with modern updates. I love that is not carpet. Wood floors have been down now for about 4 yrs and look great. I stay ad often as I can

First time In California from Texas, came in for a graduation.. wasn’t sure what to expect, but can honestly say wasn’t disappointed. Wanted a balcony with a view, def got that. Staff was very to us and helpful. A lot to take In all within walking distance. The beach was gorgeous, got to catch some volleyball, take in an outdoor market. Food was all affordable within the area with nice views.. Rooms are nicely spaced and not crowded.. Good recommendation for anyone new to the area.. will def be back..

I think they are a bit overpriced by the looks of the room,somewhat updated since they used to be a Best Western. Great balcony, nice pool tho not heated. Nice breakfast by the pool, restaurant is under construction. Ocean view in some areas,partial in others. Beds extremely comfortable. Showers only idk about ground floors. The grounds are well kept and landscaped. All and all it was a great stay and I'd come again.
